VICTORIA ‘RITA” ARMELIN JOHNSON

Funeral services are set for Victoria “Rita” Armelin Johnson, 63, a native and resident of Charenton, who died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at 2:45 p.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 1262 Bobtown Road, Charenton. Burial rites will be at the church Saturday at noon, with interment to follow in the Godman Cemetery in Charenton.
She is survived by her daughter, Tamara M. Johnson of Charenton; two grandchildren, Kaila Allisia Johnson and Christopher DeShon Snowden Jr.; a brother, Lee (Martha) Armelin of Charenton; two step-brothers, Roosevelt Johnson and John Larry IV, both of Baldwin; four sisters, Vera “Lullie” Armelin of Charenton, Nora Jones of Baldwin, Mary Lessie Burgess of Oceanside, California and Betty Edmond of Charenton and two grandchildren.
Rev. Paul Godfrey will officiate.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
