Berwick exercised its gridiron demons well before Halloween with Thursday’s 42-35 win against nearby and district rival Patterson.

Berwick and Patterson seek consistency in Thursday’s District 8-3A showdown at Berwick.
Patterson High School fell to Catholic High-New Iberia 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-19) in District 2-IV play in New Iberia Tuesday.
No individual statistics were available.
Notre Dame swept Patterson, 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-10), in District 2-IV prep volleyball action Thursday at Patterson.
