Centerville Stars win JPRD Tourney

HARVEY _ The Centerville Biddy Basketball 12-year-old Boys All Stars won the Jefferson Parish West Bank (JPRD) Biddy Invitational Tournament which was held February 19-21 here in Harvey.
Centerville went 4-0 in tournament. In Pool Play, Centerville beat St. Charles by a score of 48-26 and Kenner by a score of 42-27. In the semifinals, Centerville beat JPRD East Bank by a score of 26-23. In the finals the Centerville All-Stars topped JPRD West Bank by a score of 48-42.
JPRD East Bank was the No. 1 ranked 12-year-old Biddy Boys Basketball Team in the state and JPRD West Bank was the second-ranked team in the state.
The Centerville 12-year- old-boys Boys Biddy Basketball Team is now ranked the No. 1 team in state with a perfect 13-0 record.
