District 10s tourney begins Saturday

The District 3 10-year-old Dixie Youth All-Star tournament will begin Saturday at Kemper Williams Park and continue through Tuesday.
The tournament will feature Thibodaux, Morgan City, Patterson and St. Mary Central.
Action will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday when Thibodaux meets Morgan City, followed by Patterson facing St. Mary Central at 4 p.m.
The winners of those first-round games will meet Sunday at 4 p.m., while the losers of the initial games will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Action will continue through Tuesday when the remaining two teams will meet at 5 p.m. for the championship. An “if necessary” game will be played at 8 p.m. to decide the title if the winner coming out of the loser’s bracket defeats whatever undefeated team emerges from the winner’s bracket in the 5 p.m. contest.
