Six students represented South Central Louisiana Technical College – Young Memorial campus at regional competition May 8 and 9 in Lafayette. Four of the students placed with medals in the competition and three of them will advance to national competition in Kansas City, Mo., from June 22 to 28. College to send 3 to national competition

A South Central Louisiana Technical College-Young Memorial Campus contingent traveled to a Skills USA state competition in Lafayette on May 8 and 9 and returned with four students claiming medals,

A donation of $2,000 was given Friday to South Central Louisiana Technical College, Young Memorial Campus in Morgan City. The donation was from Morgan City Oilfield Fishing Rodeo as proceeds from their tournament.
The funds are intended to benefit the higher education “Battlefields to Oilfield” program at the college, a program rewarding our nation’s veterans looking to work in the oil and gas industry.
