All four Tri-City area baseball teams advanced to the postseason. Morgan City is the No. 22 seed in Class 4A and will
travel to face No. 11 Crowley Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Miller Park in Crowley. Bewick is the No. 14 seed in Class 3A and will host No. 19 Jennings today at 5 p.m. Patterson, the No. 26 seed in Class 3A, will travel to face No. 7 North Webster today at 6 p.m. In Class 1A, Central Catholic, the top seed, will host No. 32 Logansport Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Above, Morgan City’s Philip Hutchinson hits a pitch during district action against Vandebilt Catholic.
