Brusly ends successful Berwick season

No. 22 Brusly upset No. 11 Berwick, 52-36, Friday in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs in Berwick, ending Berwick's first appearance in the playoffs in 20 years.

McCorkle's field goal lifts Berwick past North Vermilion

The Berwick Panthers edged the North Vermilion Patriots Friday, 31-30, on a 23-yard game-winning field goal by John McCorkle to finish the regular season 8-2 heading into the playoffs.
