Berwick steps out of District 8-3A play Friday to tackle unbeaten Haynes Academy out of New Orleans Friday.
Members of the volleyball teams from Morgan City and Berwick High schools gathered along with the teams' honorary servers, Brenda Green and Susan Price, prior to their District 8-III match to display a
check for $8,000 from money raised to help cancer patients in St. Mary Parish. The money will be donated to Louisiana Foundation for Cancer Care, in partnership with Oncologics. Through the years, Morgan

Morgan City topped Berwick 3-1 (25-14, 18-25, 25-18, 25-15) in the Lady Tiger’s annual Paint the Pit Pink contest in Morgan City Thursday.
Berwick got its biggest win of the season against Patterson, 42-35, last week at Geisler Stadium in Berwick, snapping a 20-year losing streak.

Berwick exercised its gridiron demons well before Halloween with Thursday’s 42-35 win against nearby and district rival Patterson.
