Patterson and Berwick high schools managed to complete a continuation game Friday in Patterson. The Lumberjacks were ahead 2-0 when the game was postponed due to lightning on April 16. Patterson added two more runs in Friday’s contest to win 4-0 securing second place in district. E.D. White stands in first place and Berwick is third. The Morgan City High School Tigers were defeated by Vandebilt Catholic 11-5 in prep baseball play Wednesday at Tiger Diamond. Marquise Charles attempts to get a hit during game action. The Tigers are in action against Assumption in Napoleonville today with the game scheduled for 4 p.m., weather permitting.
