MRS. DEBRA ANN CHARATAIN

Mrs. Debra Ann Charatain, 54, a resident of Baldwin and native of Lafayette, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 11:20 p.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church in Baldwin.
Burial rites will be read Wednesday, at 11 a.m., at the church, with the Rev. Ronald J. Southhall officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence P. Charatain Jr. of Baldwin; four sons, Clarence P. Charatain III (his wife, Melinda) of Elizabeth Town, KY; Devon A. Charatain of Watertown, NY; Christopher M. Charatain and Trevon K. Charatain, both of Baldwin; seven daughters, Mrs. Trivette McCurtis (her husband, Jason), Miss Jessica Charatain and Miss Tramica R. Charatain, all of Baldwin; Miss Sabrina E. Charatain of Baton Rouge, Miss Jamilla M. Charatain, Miss Sharella L. Charatain and Miss Courtney L. Charatain, all of Lafayette; six brothers, William Jenkins Jr. (his wife, Audrey) of Jennings; Brian Jenkins (his wife, Yolande’) of Atlanta, GA; Raymond Jenkins (his wife, Loretta) of Glencoe; Joseph Jenkins (his wife, Shawn), Lionel Jenkins and Paul Jenkins, all of Baldwin; one sister, Mrs. Ester Moore of Jeanerette; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Charatain was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
