Arrest reports

Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrests:
—Jordan Vidos, 27, of Fourth Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. Tuesday for possession of synthetic cannabis with the intent to distribute; possession of a legend drug without a prescription; possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance law (school zone).
Morgan City police detectives with the assistance of St. Mary Parish sheriff’s deputies and Berwick police executed a search warrant at a Fourth Street residence based on complaints of illegal drug activity. During the search, suspected synthetic marijuana and items of paraphernalia were located inside the residence occupied by Jordan Vidos, Crouch said. Vidos was also found to be in possession of two firearms and a prescription medication without a proper prescription, he said.
He remained jailed this morning with no bail set.
—Patrick D. Guarisco, 50, of Spruce Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. Tuesday for third offense possession of marijuana, second offense possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (Cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia and improper turning.
An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Front and Louisa streets in Morgan City. During the stop, officers located suspected marijuana and suspected crack cocaine along with items of paraphernalia. Guarisco remained jailed with no bail set this morning.
—Jeremy J. Olivier, 34, of Francis Street in Berwick, was arrested on 10:19 a.m. Tuesday for hit and run. Olivier turned himself in after he was involved in a traffic accident near the intersection of Sixth Street and Brashear Avenue Monday. There were no injuries. Olivier was released after posting bail.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrest:
—Michael L. Hill, of Columbus, Ga., was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving while intoxicated. Hill was transported from the Iberia Parish Jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrest:
—Dustin Guilbeau, 29, of First Street in Patterson was arrested at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Berwick Police Department on Opelousas City Court warrants for no headlights, expired driver’s license and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He is being held in Berwick on other charges.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
