Arrests reports
Morgan City Police Chief Michael Banks reported the following arrests:
—Brandon Mccledon, 27, of Headland Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. Monday for criminal damage to property.
Officers were dispatched to a Headland Street residence to stand by while the complainant removed items from the residence. When officers arrived to assist, they were advised that the resident, Mccledon, had removed the caller’s items from the residence.
The items had been removed from the residence and abandoned on the side of the road causing damage and some of the items to be removed. Mccledon was jailed with bail set at $492.
—Shelia C. Mouton, 46, of Oak Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 7:24 p.m. Monday on a warrant for failure to appear in drug court for disturbing the peace and a warrant for probation violation.
Mouton was arrested on outstanding warrants after officers were dispatched to the Oak Street area regarding a disturbance. Mouton was jailed.
—Arik M. Louviere, 19, of Wytchwood Drive in Morgan City, was arrested at 11:08 a.m. Monday on a warrant for failure to pay probation fee and a warrant for probation violation.
A patrolling officer located a suspicious vehicle in the area of Front Street and Freret Street and stopped to investigate. An occupant of the vehicle, Louviere, was found to be wanted on outstanding warrants and was placed under arrest. He was jailed.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 30 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
—Alison T. Chenevert, 34, of the 1900 block of Saturn Road in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Monday for license plate light required, driving with a suspended license, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of improper child restraint, smoking in a vehicle prohibited, and driving under suspension.
A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area observed a vehicle with no license plate light and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Middle and David roads. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Chenevert, and learned of the warrant for her arrest. Chenevert was jailed with bail set at $11,500.
—Amanda W. Ramos, 29, of the 100 block of Burchfield Lane in Berwick, was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Monday on an Assumption Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area observed a suspicious vehicle parked near a vacant residence with two people inside. The deputy made contact with one of the subjects, identified as Ramos. While speaking with Ramos, the deputy discovered that she held an active warrant for her arrest. During the arrest, the second person fled from the area. Ramos was jailed with no bail set.
—Fernando Guerrero, 29, of the 300 block of Charlotte Street in Patterson, was arrested at 12:42 a.m. today on a Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear on the charges of contempt of court and speeding. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area observed a vehicle parked on the shoulder of La. 182. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Guerrero. He was jailed with no bail set.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrest:
—Phoebe Marsh, 60, of the 200 block of Trevino Street in Berwick, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. Monday for disturbing the peace. She was released.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
