Franklin man on ‘Most Wanted’ list arrested

A 31-year-old Franklin man, who had been featured in The Daily Review’s Most Wanted edition on a July 23 warrant for hitting someone with a phone charger cord, was arrested Friday, Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire said in a news release.
Curtis Williams, 31, of Martin Luther King Boulevard in Franklin, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. Friday on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. Williams was also arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial Court for failure to appear on the charge of cocaine, disturbing the peace by public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Williams was charged with resisting an officer with force and violence, attempted disarming of a peace officer, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, McGuire said. Williams was taken to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville.
