The Patterson High School girls’ basketball team remained undefeated in District 9-3A play with a 55-46 victory against Franklin High Friday.
Berwick High School swept Franklin High 3-0 (25-8, 25-20, 25-6) in its regular season finale on Senior Night Wednesday.
After leading through three quarters, Berwick couldn’t hold on Friday against Jeanerette, losing 30-21. For the second week in a row, the Panthers were limited because of injuries.
Morgan City High School won its second game of the 2014 season Friday with a 14-6 victory against Franklin. Morgan City High School will look to bounce back from a 56-27 loss to Livonia last week when it travels to face Franklin High School Friday. The Tigers enter the game 1-3, while the Hornets are 0-4.
