Winners in the Patterson Garden Club annual door decorating contest held at Hattie Watts Elementary School were announced recently.
Hattie Watts Elementary participated in a community involvement activity by providing local grocery stores with drug-free bags to use during Red Ribbon Week. At Save a Lot are, in front, Draycen Verdun, Madison Izaguirre, JaKyrius Verdun, Kristian Izaguirre and Makenzie Bienvenu. In the back row, are Ubain Barras, Tyffani Blanc, store manager Chuck Landry, Principal Niki Fryou, Heather Broussard, Carla Mueller and Mickey Hatch.
