The Berwick Panthers did something Tuesday that hadn’t been done in a long time: win a district ball game.
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles fell at home to Lafayette Christian, 39-20, in District 7-1A action Monday.
Hallie Autin led the Lady Eagles with 11 points.
Two of four Tri-City area football teams were victorious in Week 8 as Central Catholic and Patterson picked up district victories.
Central Catholic High School will return to action Thursday when it hosts Lafayette

The Central Catholic Eagles will continue District 7-1A action this week when they host Lafayette Christian Academy Thursday.
Berwick High School will conclude its nondistrict action Friday when it travels to face Lafayette Christian. The Panthers, who played their first district game a week ago, came away with a 23-14 victory against Franklin High School.
