A Berwick couple was arrested Thursday on drug charges, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release.
The Herman Hartman Educational Enrichment Group has completed its summer reading program. Each participant read 15 books and wrote a report on each book.
All municipal, parish and state offices will be close Monday in celebration of Labor Day.
However, the Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will be open until noon Monday.
