The Morgan City Recreation Department kicked off its Biddy Basketball season Wednesday at M.D. Shannon Elementary. In addition to the ceremonial opening tip off, three exhibition games were played. The Morgan City Recreation Department closed out its Biddy Basketball season last week. Among the final teams in action during the week were Holiday Inn and Whitney Bank squaring off in 5- and 6-year-old action and KBZE & KFRA and the Morgan City Recreation Department meeting in 7-and-8-year-old action.
