Sanchez and Aleman earn 1st team all-district honors

The Morgan City High School boys soccer team took first place in Division III/IV at the Buffalo Wild Wings North-South Challenge in Lafayette this week. Morgan City defeated Loyola Prep Monday and North DeSoto and Evangel Tuesday to clinch the title. The Morgan City High School boys’ soccer team won the Division III/IV crown of the Buffalo Wild Wings North-South Challenge in Lafayette.
The Morgan City Tigers defeated South Terrebonne 3-0, while the Lady Tigers played South Terrebonne to a scoreless tie, both in District 7-II action Wednesday.

The Morgan City High Tigers defeated Lutcher High School, while the Lady Tigers played Houma Christian to a draw.
In the boys’ game, Morgan City picked up a 4-1 win.
The Morgan City Tigers’ and Lady Tigers’ soccer teams fell to Vandebilt Catholic in District 7-II action Tuesday.
