The Morgan City Junior High School girls’ basketball team is holding a barbeque dinner fundraiser Jan. 18 to raise money to attend the Middle School Multi-State Championship at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, an event the Lady Tigers were chosen to attend Jan. 31-Feb. 1. The team is accepting both monetary donations for the trip, which head coach Allise Jennings estimated will cost $2,200, and food for the fundraiser. Those interested in helping should call Jennings at 985-714-3966. All checks should be made payable to Morgan City Junior High School.
