Lane closures planned for bridge inspections

There will be several bridge lane closures in St. Mary Parish Monday and Tuesday to accommodate routine inspections, according to a state Department of Transportation and Development news release.
U.S. 90 east bridge at Morgan City will be reduced to one lane for routine bridge inspections from 8 a.m. to noon Monday, weather permitting. No detour is necessary.
La. 182 bridge at Berwick will be closed for routine bridge inspections from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, weather permitting. The detour route for this closure includes U.S. 90 immediately adjacent to La. 182.
U.S. 90 west bridge at Morgan City will be reduced to one lane for routine bridge inspections from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, weather permitting. No detour is necessary.
La. 182 over Old Bayou Boeuf bridge at Amelia will be closed for routine bridge inspections from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, weather permitting. All U.S. 90 westbound over height permit loads won’t have a detour route for the period of this closure because of the low height ramp that crosses over U.S. 90 westbound. The detour route for this closure includes La. 662, U.S. 90 and Duhon Boulevard.
