Denissa “Gabby” Rubio

Denissa “Gabby” Rubio, 26, a native of Los Angeles and a resident of Houma, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014.
A memorial service will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. at The Crossing Place Fellowship in Bayou Vista.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Primera Iglesia Pentecostal de Spring Branch, 5503 Gessner Dr., Houston, TX 77041. A memorial will follow at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Survivors include her parents, Rolando and Carmen Rubio, of Houston; one brother, Ronnie Rubio, of Downey, California; two sisters, Pamela and Jonathan Long, of Lubbock, Texas, and Andrea Rubio, of Houston; one niece, Daniella Long, of Lubbock, Texas; one nephew, Isaac Long, of Lubbock, Texas; and her two pups, Phoenix and Pyro.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to defray funeral expenses.
