Reba Smith Veillon

Reba Smith Veillon, 90, a resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center after brief illness.
She was retired from the St. Mary Parish School Board system.
In compliance with her wishes, her body was been donated to the LSU School of Medicine for research. A private memorial for the family will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Emile Veillon and his wife, Connie, of Thibodaux, Emily Veillon Pope and her husband, David, of Spring, Texas, and Nancy Veillon Crochet and her husband, David, of Morgan City; 10 grandchildren, Kim Poret Cloud, Dwayne Veillon, Lee Veillon, Greg Veillon, David Pope IV, Chris Pope, Matt Pope, Kevin Pope, Kara Crochet Sims and Tim Crochet; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emile Veillon, and her daughter, Annette Veillon Poret.
