Franklin police arrest 3 in thefts
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests in an investigation into a business theft.
McGuire said employees reportedly took money from a finance business on Weber Street.
Amanda Dumesnil, 29, of Hebert Road, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 1:16 p.m. on charges of felony theft over $50,000 and simple burglary. She allegedly entered the business after hours and stole money. No bond was set.
Ladetra Billiot, 42, of Cherry Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday on a charge of felony theft in the amount of $3,600. She was released on $5,000 bond.
Roni Landry, 26, of Paul Lane, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 7:29 p.m. on a charge of felony theft in the amount of $1,500 and released on $5,000 bond.
Billiot and Landry reportedly were taking money during business hours in the course of their daily work.
