CALVIN LYNN BANKS

Calvin Lynn Banks, 58, a resident of Newark, NJ and native of Franklin, was born November 2, 1956 and passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at 2:48 p.m., at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, August 15, at the Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 1 p.m. until funeral services at 3 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow funeral services in the Franklin Cemetery.
Calvin was a veteran of the United States Army.
After his years of service, he lived in New York City and Houston, TX where he successfully owned and operated the taxi service that he loved so much.
Calvin enjoyed meeting and conversing with people. He spent his life building a great career that was a perfect fit for his lively personality. His boisterous sense of humor filled everyone he encountered with rounds of laughter.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Calvin are his three brothers, Damond Banks Jr., Micheal Bowles and Darrell Juan Washington Sr. all of Houston, TX; four sisters, Patricia Weber of Franklin, Gloria Stevens, Debra Jackson and Carliss Guy-Landry, all of New Iberia; nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandparents.
Calvin Lynn was well loved and will be greatly missed.
