GEORGE 'LABO' MARSHALL PIERRE

George “LaBo” Marshall Pierre, age 58, a resident and native of Charenton, Louisaina, passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at his residence.
Visitation will be observed from 7:30 a.m. until the noon funeral Thursday at the Jones Funeral Home, 1101 Main St. in Franklin. The Rev. Arnold Ray Joseph and Pastor Isabella Gasper will officiate. Burial will follow at the St. John Cemetery of Charenton.
Survivors include his six sisters; Mrs. Paul (Lois P.) Toussaint, Jr. of Charenton, Dorestine P. Jackson of Morgan City, Carol P. Lockett of Charenton, Virginia P. Madison of Baldwin, the Rev. Ivory (Debra P.) Williams of Franklin and Mrs. Calvin (Nina P.) Martin of Charenton; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters,; and two nieces.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City, Franklin, Jeanerette and Houma are in charge of arrangements.
