NANCY MIGUEZ BOVE

Nancy Miguez Bove peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 5, 2015.
She was a native of Louisa, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Bove Jr., mother of Joey Bove of River Ridge, Cissy Marshall (Peter) of Destrahan, Marlene Burgess of Franklin, Beryl Bove of Franklin and Nicki Mendez (Jose) of Waggaman. Grandmother of Teresa Marshall, Peter Marshall Jr., Rick Marshall, Marla Rogers, Al Greco, Tony Hale, Doominee Clanton (Corey), William Hale III, Damien Hale and Eddie Mendez. Daughter of the late Rudolph Miguez and Annie Kennedy Miguez. Sister of Coral Miguez (Janice) and the late Bernice Ewing, Gloria Bann, Eunice Bruno, Frances Miguez, Vernon Miguez and Jeanette Jones.
Also survived by nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, along with her dear friends Pat Drumm and Mr. Buddy of Westminster Tower. Affectionately known as Nana.
She gave up a career in nursing to become a devoted wife and mother who loved to cook for her family and friends, had a great sense of humor and was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (St. Jude), 411 N. Rampart St., New Orleans on Thursday September 10, 2015 at 10 a.m.
Visitation at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Denise Faucheaux of Lakeside Hospice and Terrance Donnels and Rainie Denet of The Carpenter House of Saint Joseph Hospice for their loving care and concern.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Catholic Charities or masses preferred.
