Carolyn Irvin Jones, 69, a native of New Orleans and resident of Patterson, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at her residence.
She is survived by one daughter, Cheryel “Shae” Brown of Patterson; three sisters, Shirley LaSalle of Lake Charles, Bobbie Smith of San Fernando Valley, California, and Shirley Brown of New Orleans; three brothers, Alvin Seymore Sr., Charles Irvin and Joshua Irvin, all of New Orleans; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband; twin sons; her parents; two sisters; five brothers; and a grandson.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. at Caffin Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1029 Caffin Ave., New Orleans.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in New Orleans.
