ROBERT WAYNE “T.P.” PROVOST

Robert Wayne “T.P.” Provost, 50, a resident of Jeanerette, La. and native of Franklin, La., passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 on at 11.50 p.m. in Jeanerette.
Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturda,y September 26, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home, 604 Lovette St., in Jeanerette.
A rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 11200 Old Jeanerette Road, Jeanerette, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dismas Mauk, SVD serving as the Celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery on Pecot Street in Franklin.
Memories of “T.P.”, as he was known to many, will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of his wife, Charlene M. Provost of Jeanerette; one son, Brandon Webb of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Destiny Provost of Franklin, and Amya Provost of Jeanerette; two stepsons, Cedric Demouchet of New Iberia, and Trey Demouchet of Jeanerette,; one stepdaughter, Kreshonda Miller of Jeanerette; seven grandchildren; one brother, Harry Provost Jr. of Houston; six sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Dianna) Bell Sr. and Denise Provost both of Franklin; Mrs. Ricky (Harriet) Williams of Patterson, La., Mrs. Robert (Angela) Miller and Tracy Pierre both of Flint, Mich. and Mrs. Gregory (Karen) Barnes of Baton Rouge; his mother-in-law, his four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his father-in-law, as well as both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
