ARNOLD J. GUSSMAN

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Arnold J. Gussman Sr. announces his sudden passing on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center at the age of 64.
He was a wonderful person and will be remembered as a gentle soul and caring person who was loved by all who knew him.
Arnold enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the New Orleans Saints play and especially time spent with his grandchildren. He will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Judy Gussman of Morgan City; his loving son, Arnold Gussman Jr. and his wife, Candice, of Opelousas; and his two grandchildren who adored him, Madison Gussman and Jalen Frank, both of Opelousas. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Hooper and companion, Johnnie Carter; brother, Robert Gussman Sr. and wife, Elizabeth; as well as loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Joseph Gussman and Delores Rhodes Gussman.
A celebration of life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
