Donald was, on many levels, an artist at heart. Some of his favorite pastimes were painting, listening to music, and cooking (especially for holidays). He also enjoyed his daily trips to Wal-Mart visiting with the employees and shoppers, and having breakfast every morning at McDonald’s. He was a longtime employee of the Holiday Inn in Morgan City.
His passion in life though was his grandchildren, which he so loved. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his two children, Michelle T. Williams and her husband, Jim, and Michael Thibodeaux and his wife, Jaime Stroud; five grandchildren, Austin Stroud, Kamrin Thibodeaux, Kaitlyn Bodin, Gabrielle Thibodeaux, and Isabella Thibodeaux; one great-grandson, Ashton Stroud; two sisters, Antoinette “Nettie” T. Hull and Wanda Marie T. Bonin; and nieces and nephews, Donald Jr., Christine, Debora, Tammy, Margaret, Sean, Bobby, Sharon, Shane, Tessie, Stevie, Robbie, and Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Green Thibodeaux; his parents, Cleveland Thibodeaux and Emily Fournier Thibodeaux; two brothers, Cleve Thibodeaux and Floyd Thibodeaux; and one niece, Tana.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Thibodeaux, Jim Williams, Austin Stroud, Bobby Bonin, Sean Bonin, and Sharon Buck.
