MYRTLE MARIE GOREE

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Myrtle Marie Goree, 91, who passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2015.
Mrs. Goree, a resident of Broussard, was the daughter of the late Isham White and the former Nancy Walters.
She is survived by two sons, Hal Goree and his fiancé, Maureen Keener, and Bryan Goree and his wife, Katha; eight grandchildren, Mechyel, Kaliste’, Jason, Michael, Adrienne, Sarah, Kelli and Andrew; and eight great-grandchildren, Joey, Trip, Ryann, Shelby, Brendan, EmmaLee, Cole and Ariana.
She was preceded in death by parents; her spouse, Harold Goree I; daughter, Gale Andrus; grandson, H.B. Goree; and four brothers.
Myrtle loved to crochet and was very involved with her church.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting hours will continue Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
