DOMINIC MITCHELL

Dominic Mitchell, 33, a native of Franklin, Louisiana, and resident of Columbus, Georgia, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 1101 Main St., Franklin, the Rev. Preston Watson and Jules Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Tiamesha Mitchell of Columbus, Georgia; three daughters, Dominique Mitchell of Pensacola, Florida, and Namiya Mitchell and Beonica Moses, both of Columbus, Georgia; one son, Nigel Scott of Columbus, Georgia; his mother and stepfather, Penny and Darryl Bennett of Franklin; his father, David Mitchell Sr. of Gibson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law; three sisters, Shavone Mitchell of Franklin, Dominique Turner of Morgan City and Thelma Bennett of Patterson; three brothers, Gregory Chase Boykin and David Mitchell Jr., both of Franklin, and Kevin Foster of Thibodaux; his grandmother, Betty Mitchell of Gibson; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Houma-Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
