ANNIE B. BLACKBURN

Annie B. Blackburn, 89, a native of Franklin, La., and a resident of Verdunville, La., passed away on Saturday Oct. 24, 2015 at 8:49 a.m. at the Franklin Foundation Hospital in Franklin, La.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at the Little Zion Baptist Church 256 Prairie Rd North Franklin (Verdunville), La., from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m., with the Reverend Arnold Ray Joseph officiating the services and her son, the Reverend Henry Harris serving as the eulogist. Burial will follow services in the Little Zion Church Cemetery.
Beautiful memories of Mrs. Annie B., will forever be cherished and remembered in the hearts of her three sons, Rev. Henry Harris of Verdunville, La., Benny Blackburn,Jr, and Herbert Blackburn both of Patterson, La.; her nine daughters, Geraldine Blackburn of Verdunville, La., Arlene Lightfoot of Morgan City, La., Mrs. Henry (Eliza) Fontenot, Sandra Randle, Alberta Blackburn, Mrs. Perry (Dianne) Melton, Cynthia Blackburn Richardson and Debra Dennis all of Verdunville, La. and Mrs. Anthony (Christine) Taylor of Franklin, La.; two sister Roxie Harris Williams of Verdunville, La. and Estelle Harris Charles of Jeanerette, La. and forty grandchildren, one hundred eight great-grandchildren, twenty-nine great great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a son-in-law.
