ROSELLA C. MASON

February 1, 1936-November 1, 2015
Rosella C. Mason, 79, a resident of Morgan City, went home to be with the angels and our Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Rosella was born on Feb. 1, 1936, in Morgan City, the daughter of Sidney and Leah Tourera Crochet.
She loved to spend time with her family, especially during the Christmas holiday, as this was her favorite holiday. She enjoyed being with her family and loved giving them presents. She enjoyed sewing but the one thing that she loved more than sewing was dancing.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Albert Mason Sr. of Morgan City; two children, Albert Mason Jr. and wife, Debra, of Morgan City, Sheila Mason Constance and husband, James, of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, Shondell Trahan, Denise Rivere, Heidi LeBlanc and husband, Casey, Steven Mason and wife, Jo’le, and Amanda Mason Talbot and husband, Shane; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Junius Crochet and wife, Mary, of Morgan City.
Rosella was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Crochet and Leah Tourera Crochet; and three brothers, Wilton Crochet, Harry Crochet and Larry Crochet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with a visitation held from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Following Mass, Rosella will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery
