D’VONTA ‘D-BLACK’ LEMON
The Life of D’Vonta “D-Black” Lemon will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m., at West St. Mary Civic Center in Jeanerette. He will be interred in Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin. Min. Rickey Lemon will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at West St. Mary Civic Center.
Left to cherish “D-Black’s” memories is his father, Ronald (Patrice) Narcisse of New Iberia; mother, Carolyn Lemon of Baldwin; four siblings, Kierston Smith of Broussard; Ra’Shylnn Provost of New Iberia; Diego Narcisse of New Iberia; and Kim Connor of Baldwin; maternal grandparents, Sarah and Eugene Colbert of Baldwin; paternal grandparents, Marjorie Narcisse of Jeanerette; and Ronald (Debra) Lively; godmothers, Linda Gash and Marjorie Lively; special aunts, Latosha Lemon and Josephine Lively; also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Doris Narcisse, Leon Silas, Eugene Colbert; great aunts, Ruby Colbert, Diane Colbert; and aunt, Terrell Lively; uncle, Donald Lively; cousins, Christopher Green, Shawn Tyler and Marquetta Harris.
