CARRIE PHILLIPS

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Carrie Phillips will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 11 a.m., at St. Moses Baptist Church, 20315 Hwy. 182, in Jeanerette. She will be interred in the Jones Family Cemetery in Four Corners. Bishop BK Stevens, Pastor and the Rev. Patricia Thomas officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at St. Moses Baptist Church.
Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Phillips is four daughters, Sharon (Leo) Hogan of Scottsdale, GA; Sheila Phillips Edwards of Atlanta, GA, Patricia (Willie) Verrett of New Iberia; and Norma Phillips, Antioch, CA; three sons, Don Phillips (Hope Charles) of Four Corners; Darrell Phillips Sr. of New Iberia; and Kevin (Delta) Phillips of New Iberia; one sister, Ommil Holmes of Beaumont, TX; two brothers, Marcus Jones, Jr. of Morgan City; and Lawrence Jones of Four Corners; 21 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by he husband, Silas Phillips; four sons, Chester Phillips, Nelson, Phillips, Wilson Phillips and Jerry Phillips; two grandchildren, Ronnie Phillips and Joseph Key Jr., three brothers and two sisters.
MK DIXON Funeral Home in Baldwin is in charge of final arrangements.
