RUTH M. CROSS

Ruth M. Cross, 98, a native of Gibson and resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at the Iberia Manor South Nursing Center in New Iberia.
Visitation will be observed Saturday at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Dr. C.F. Smith Sr. will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Beatrice Cross of Morgan City; one sister, Jeanette Daniels of Franklin; a host of family members with more than six generations of grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, five sisters and four brothers.
