LORETIA MARCANTEL PLEMONS

Loretia Marcantel Plemons, 75, a native of Oberlin, Louisiana, who was raised in Lake Charles, and was a longtime resident of Houma until recently moving to Patterson to be near family, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, in Patterson.
She is survived by her son, Keith Plemons of North Carolina; her grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Bellard and Frances Daughtery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and by her parents.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma during an 11 a.m. Liturgy of the Word Service with Deacon Jimmy Brunet officiating. A gathering will be held at the church at 10 a.m. Following local services, her ashes will be interred with her deceased infant son in Tennessee.
