EDDIE THOMAS LOCKLEY
Eddie Thomas Lockley, 70, a native of Baldwin and resident of Four Corners, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Franklin Foundation Hospital at 8:50 a.m.
Eddie was employed as a Yard Foreman and Crane Operator for Texaco and Chevron, where he dedicated 27 years of service. Eddie also was a great carpenter; one of his most prized works was being able to build his own home.
Visitation will be observed on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the St. Peter United Methodist Church in Jeanerette, from 7 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Southall officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the St. Peter Church Cemetery of Jeanerette.
Known to many as “Wine”, Eddie leaves his legacy of love with his loving wife of 51 years, Mary S. Lockley of Four Corners; his two sons, Andre’ Lockley (Kim) of Houston, TX and Eddrick Lockley (LaDonna) of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur C. Lockley, III (Jessina) and Blane Lockley (Kim Notto) Lockley, both of New Iberia; four sisters, Glenn Druilhet, Mrs. Louis (Marsha) Delasbour and Mrs. Artis (Stephanie) Jackson, all of Baldwin, and Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Mapp of New Iberia; and a host of nieces, nephews, dear friends and loved ones.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Chester Lockley II and Ann E. Lockley and one grandchild, Alex B. Lockley.
