MARY NELL JOHNSON-ALLEN

Mary Nell Johnson-Allen, 50, a resident of Patterson and native of Berwick, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 3:57 a.m., at her residence in Patterson.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday January 2, 2016 at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m., with Minister Patrick Jones Sr. officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Berwick Cemetery.
Memories of Mary Nell will forever be remembered in the hearts of her loving husband, Douglas J. Allen of Patterson; one son, Larry Griffin III of Patterson; one daughter, Quanisha Drew of Houston, TX; four brothers, Warner Johnson (Mozell) of Berwick, Charles Johnson (Cleo) of Morgan City, Lawrence Johnson (Rose Mary) of Patterson and Horace Johnson (Mary Marie) of Lafayette; four sisters, Maggie Milton of Loreauville, LA, Debbie A. Johnson of Patterson, Geraldine LaGarde and Linda M. Strawder, both of Berwick; and a host nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mary Nell was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and a nephew.
