Police Reports 3-29-16

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Daniel M. Hernandez, 28, of Pasadena, Texas, was arrested Thursday at 12:18 p.m. and charged with a warrant from Franklin Police for bank fraud, forgery and monetary instrument abuse. No bail was set.
Blair Johnson, 26, of Belle Rose, was arrested Thursday at 1:34 p.m. and charged on a warrant for theft of goods and simple assault. Johnson was released on a $1,250 bond.
Kevin Drexler, 33, of Amelia, was additionally charged with battery of a correctional facility employee. No bail was set.
Jermaine Keys, 40, of Thibodaux, was arrested Thursday at 8:16 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace. He was later released on a summons to appear in court.
Kayla Jackson, 24, of 2237½ La. 318, Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 9:54 a.m. and charged with lighting lamps required and driving under suspension. The deputy released Jackson on a summons to appear in court.
Geraldo Gamez Zamarripa, 31, of 728 Magnolia St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 10:54 p.m. and charged for stop signs and yield signs, driver must be licensed and possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. Zamarripa was transported to the parish jail for booking and was released on a summons to appear in court.
Joel Plaisance, 28, of Houma, was arrested Friday at 8:27 p.m. and charged for hit and run driving. Plaisance was released on a summons to appear in court.
Troy Jenkins, 48, of 1047 Eagle St., Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:58 a.m. and charged for driving under suspension. The deputy released Jenkins on a summons to appear in court.
Stefayne Carter, 25, of Siracusa, was arrested Saturday at 8:02 p.m. and charged for proper equipment required and possession of Schedule I. Carter was released on a summons to appear in court.
Buddy Haire, 36, of 7967 La. 87, Charenton, was arrested Saturday at 10:47 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass. Haire was released on a summons to appear in court.
Juvenile male, 16, of Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 6:53 p.m. and charged with off road vehicles on a public roadway and resisting an officer. Following the traffic stop investigation, the deputy released the juvenile to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Sadie Templet, 18, of Pierre Part, was arrested Sunday at 11:41 p.m. and charged for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. The deputy made contact with Templet and, following the investigation, released her on a summons to appear in court.
Russell McGuire, III, 39, of 703 Seyburn St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 12:42 a.m. and charged with license plate light required and driving under suspension. McGuire was released on a summons to appear in court.
Kimberly M. Simon, 33, of 117 Pamela Dr., Lafayette, was arrested Monday at 2:58 p.m. and charged for driving under suspension. Simon was released on a summons to appear in court.
Jessica Trahan, 30, of 15189 La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 4:28 p.m. and charged for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and criminal trespass. No bail was set.
Terrance Jackson, 39, of Napoleonville, was arrested Monday at 3:26 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of unauthorized use of an access card. Jackson was released on a $5,000 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Daniel Hernandez, 29, of Pasadena, Texas, while incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, was arrested Monday at 9:18 a.m. and charged on warrants dated November 4, 2013, for the charges of monetary instrument abuse, forgery and bank fraud. Hernandez was processed and remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Darren D Holmes, 57, of Chitimacha Trail, Baldwin, was arrested Thursday and charged with criminal trespassing and released on a summons.
Derek D Williams, 30, of Merchants Blvd., Lafayette, was arrested Sunday and charged with possession of marijuana and released on a summons.
Dale Simoneaux Jr., 25, of Tunica St., Charenton, was arrested Sunday and charged with disorderly conduct and released on a summons. He was also arrested on a warrant from District Court of Jefferson County, Texas, on the charge of theft of services and he was incarcerated in the parish jail to await extradition to Texas.
