ERNEST W. MAIZE JR.

Ernest W. Maize Jr., 68, a native of Morgan City, Louisiana, and resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, in Lake Charles.
Visitation will be Saturday at Siracusaville Recreation Center, 1110 Grace St., Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery, the Rev. Vincent Fusilier officiating.
He is survived by three sons, Ernest Maize III of Houma, Bernard Maize of Jonesboro, Georgia, and LaRon Ruffin of Lafayette; one daughter, Rachael Brown of Gray; two brothers, Anthony Maize of Lake Charles and Charles Maize of Morgan City; three sisters, Michelle Gray and Gayle Brown, both of Patterson, and Agnes Maize of Morgan City; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three god-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, four sisters and two brothers.
