ERNEST ‘JUNE’ WILTON MAIZE JR.

Ernest “June” Wilton Maize Jr., 68, a resident of Lake Charles and native of Morgan City, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Lake Charles.
Visitation will be observed Saturday, April 9 at the Siracusaville Recreation (new building behind the gymnasium) in Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery. The Rev. Vincent Fusilier will officiate the services.
Memories of “June,” as he was known to many, will forever be cherished in the hearts of his three sons, Ernest W. Maize III of Houma; Bernard Maize of Jonesboro, GA; and LaRon Ruffin of Lafayette; one daughter, Rachael Brown of Gray, LA; two brothers, Anthony Maize of Lake Charles; and Charles Maize (Ruby) of Morgan City; three sisters, Michelle Gray (James) and Gayle Brown (Cecil), both of Patterson; and Agnes Maize of Morgan City; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three godchildren, Lisa Richmond, Lonnie Johnson and Patience Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear friends.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, four sisters and two brothers.
