APRIL CHRISTINE MARTIN

April Christine Martin, 34, a native and resident of Houma, passed away peacefully at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, located on 120 Hialeah Avenue in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her fiancé’, Brian Ross of Houma; sons, Da’Vontaveon and Zavean Martin; daughters, Salae’ and Angelay Martin; stepsons, Noah Cooks, Tre’von and De’Vaughn Gauno, all of Houma; her mother, Idella (James) Gray of Houma; in-laws, brothers, Allen Ray (Carlene) Martin Sr. of Houma and Malcolm Smith of Verdunville; sisters, Matilda Martin of Houma, Gusta Martin of Franklin; and Jennifer Martin of Morgan City.
She was preceded in death by her father, brother, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.
