Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin during a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial for AnnaBelle Trahan Sellers, a native of Youngsville and 40 year resident of Franklin who passed away at the age of 77 on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 5:53 p.m. at Franklin Foundation Hospital. She will be laid to rest in the Perpetual Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be John Sellers, Kelly Sellers, Bryan Landry, Kyle Falgoust, Claude Tabb, Coty Martin, Alex Shaw and Jason Sykes. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Tribes and Mike Tribes. Father Cedric Sonnier will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Visitations will resume Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at 8 a.m. and continue until time of Mass.
Survivors include her three children, John S. Sellers and his wife, Lisa of Franklin; Lisa S. Shaw and her companion, Claude Tabb of Franklin; and Cheryl S. Landry and her husband, Bryan of Prairieville; her grandchildren, Kaylyn S. Martin and her husband, Coty; John Kelly Sellers, Dakota Carson, Tiffany S. Sykes and her husband, Jason; Alex Shaw and his fiancée Felicia Sawyer; and Ashley L. Falgoust and her husband, Kyle; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Martin, Presten Sykes, Kaleb Sykes, Kolby Sykes and Jacob Falgoust; one brother, Ernest Arceneaux; and two sisters, Alice Tribes and Eva Bouillion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sidney “Sagnus” Sellers; two infant children, Alex Paul and Mary Lynn Sellers; her parents, Levi and Elodie Trahan; and numerous siblings.
