APRIL MARIE CHENET-THOMPSON

April Marie Chenet-Thompson, 37, a resident and native of Jeanerette, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City, at 4 a.m.
Visitation will be observed on Friday, August 28, at the First Church of God in Christ in Jeanerette, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette. Elder Rodney Antoine will officiate the services.
Cherished and divine memories of April will forever be remembered by her loving husband, Darnell T. Thompson; her three children, Christian Chenet, Darrian McNeal and Tanisha Butler; her mother, Linda Jones, all of Jeanerette; two sisters, Patricia Chenet of Jeanerette and Treshauna Ward of Baton Rouge; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
April was preceded in death by her father, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
