BARBARA ANN LANDRY CHARPENTIER

Funeral services were held Monday, August 31, 2015, during a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Barbara Ann Landry Charpentier, 76, a native of Grand Marais and a longtime resident of Baldwin, who passed away Friday, August 28, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Cedric Sonnier officiated the Mass and conducted the services.
A gathering of family and friends was to be held Sunday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Visiting hours resumed Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin at 9 a.m. and continued until time of Mass.
Survivors include her sons, Stefan J. Charpentier, John P. Charpentier and his wife, Anne; and Chad M. Charpentier and his wife, Lisa; two grandchildren, Heather Marie Charpentier and Devin Charpentier and his wife Tristi; two great grandchildren, Nathan Gage Vicknair and Owen Luke Charpentier; her siblings, Lou Allen Landry, Myrtle L. Vincent, Gloria L. Cormier, Jenny L. Foreman, Jeffery Landry Jr., Brian Landry and Janell L. Breaux.
She was preceded in death her husband, Jerry Joseph Charpentier; her parents, John Jeffery Landry Sr. and Beulah Marie Landry; two siblings, Rita Nell L. Conrad and Mark Landry; and a great granddaughter, Natalie Marie Vicknair.
Serving as pallbearers were her sons, Stefan, John and Chad; her brothers, Jeffery and Brian; and brother-in-law, Bob Cormier.
