BARBARA V. ROBICHEAUX

Barbara V. Robicheaux, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015. She was 71 at the time of her passing.
Barbara is survived by her loving children, Richard P. Robicheaux and his wife, Jane, Brenda Shicksnider and her husband, Bryan, Jimmy Robicheaux and his fiancé, Tina, and Gene Anthony Robicheaux and his fiancé, Amanda; her longtime companion, Irvin Singleton; one brother, Glenn Verrett; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She joins in heaven the love of her life, Richard Robicheaux Sr.; her parents; three brothers; and two grandchildren.
The family requests that visitation be observed Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, from 9 a.m. until the time of services at Hargrave Funeral Home. A celebration of Barbara’s life will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home, and graveside services will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
