Carrie Mary Butler, 65, a resident of Franklin, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016, at 2:52 p.m., at the Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 23 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 11 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Spann officiating.
Memories of “Carrie Mae,” as she was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of two sons, Jermaine Conley (Ambra) and Charles Madison Sr., both of Franklin; two daughters, Mrs. Quentin (Mary) Mitchell of Spring, TX and Mrs. Vanshonne (Tessie) Brown of Franklin; two daughters she helped to rear, Mrs. Joe (Stephanie) Daniels of Patterson and Sarah Hopkins of Franklin; one brother, Eddie Butler (Virginia) of Houston, TX; three sisters, Mary Ellen Butler of Houston, TX and Leotha Rudolph and Mary Ann Polidore, both of Franklin; one godchild; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, one great grandchild, her stepfather, three brothers, two sisters, one aunt, three uncles, grandparents, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law and six nephews.
